Are you a tech-savvy go-getter with a passion for forging connections and driving business growth? We're seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (Fintech) to join our expanding team. As a key player in our sales engine, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionise the insurance industry. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is driven by measurable results, and is eager to develop their career in b2b sales and finance.
Our BDM’s gain hands-on experience in handling high-growth clients whilst developing analytical, interpersonal and technical insurance market and product knowledge. You’ll work closely with our New Business Brokers to utilise real market data in an effort to win new clients.
What you'll get up to:
Actively source, attract and engage new clients, via a multitude of inbound and outbound channels.
Identify prospects needs and suggest appropriate products and services
Review, optimise and constantly improve sales outreach and sequences
Conduct research to stay ahead of Fintech industry trends and market developments, tailoring your approach to provide valuable insights to client prospects.
Champion your specific Fintech knowledge and support our marketing team to create valuable content to attract potential clients
Maintain CRM systems to assist with providing clear management information and sales forecasting.
About you:

A passion for Fintech, innovation and startups
Strong understanding of the Fintech or Financial services industries
3+ years commercial experience in B2B sales
Desire to learn and the ability to absorb and apply feedback
High levels of curiosity and a natural ‘get up and go’ attitude is vital
Proven creative problem-solving approach
The ability to listen and analyse customer needs
Target driven and motivated
Strong desire to progress within a growing business
Highly organised, meticulous, and possesses the ability to multitask
