About the role
Superscript is on the lookout for a focused Delivery Manager to work across our squads and also get involved in a few company-wide strategic projects.
Reporting to our Operations and Delivery Lead, you’ll be a key part in delivering high-quality technical products and company projects with efficiency.
What you'll get up to:
- Deliver projects and products using agile methodology whilst learning and iterating frequently
- Remove impediments and proactively address risks, issues and dependencies including where ownership exists outside of the team
- Encourage and help build a zero-blame culture based on trust and openness
- Ensure priorities are visible and transparent, keeping the teams focused on what needs to be delivered
- Collaborate with the wider product team to define the roadmap for products/initiatives and help translate them into user stories to enable frequent value release
- Effectively communicate project status and delivery expectations to all relevant stakeholders
- Manage ambiguity, complexity and simplifying challenges to drive delivery
About you:
- 5+ years of experience in project or delivery management, ideally within the insurance industry (preferably commercial insurance or insurtech) or another regulated environment.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent qualifications in Agile methodologies are desirable or PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred
- Able to deal with ambiguity in a proactive and solution-focused manner
- Excellent communicator who prioritises delivery though strong relationships and influence
- Unafraid to throw out the rule book when it makes sense
- Familiarity with JIRA or equivalent
- Understanding of working towards strategic pillars and initiatives
- Background in insurtech or insurance is highly beneficial
