About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Finance Graduate Intern to support the finance team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or final-year student looking to gain hands on experience in brokerage finance, client premium management, insurer settlements, and commission reporting while working closely with placement, servicing, and accounting team.
What you'll get up to:
Assist with financial data collection, validation, and analysis related to client premiums and broker commissions.
Support commission calculations, bordereaux, and revenue analysis.
Support reconciliation of insurer statements, and commission income.
Assist in tracking receivables, payables, and cash flow related to client and insurer settlements.
Assist with expense processing and tracking.
Support preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Provide general administrative and analytical support to the finance team.
About you:
Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial reporting is an advantage.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Interest in insurance brokerage, financial services, or risk management.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
